OPAL CIC launches the A Plan for Play report at Westminster

On 12 March 2024, the North East team was delighted to attend the official launch of the A Plan for Play report!

A Plan for Play shows why every child should have at least one hour of outstanding outdoor play every day at school and outlines some key recommendations on how the Government can make that a reality.

OPAL North East Director and Founder Ingrid Wilkinson welcomed headteacher Carolyn Hodgson from Esh Winning Primary School, who received their OPAL Honours award for sustained outstanding play provision at the event.
