Maryport school receives award for outdoor play and learning

Maryport Church of England (CofE) Primary School has achived a second consecutive award for their amazing playtimes. The school recently achieved the OPAL Platinum Award, meaning they have some of the best playtimes in the country.

A spokesperson for the school said:

“By receiving this award we have been recognised for making the children’s play more enjoyable, by making dens, climbing trees, using imagination in the mud kitchen and water area.”
